Ohio's TechCred Program gives businesses the chance to upskill current and future employees to help them qualify for a better job in today's tech-infused economy. Businesses that submit successful applications are reimbursed up to $2,000 per credential when current or prospective employees complete eligible technology-focused credentials, up to $30,000 per employer per funding round.
Any Ohio business, regardless of size or industry, can apply — as long as it's registered with the Ohio Secretary of State and has a physical, non-residential location in the state.
Employees must be W-2 employees (not 1099 contractors) and Ohio residents with a verifiable Ohio address. This applies to both current employees and prospective hires.
Applications are reviewed and evaluated during each funding round, so approval isn't automatic. Global Lynx helps you prepare a strong, complete application to maximize your chances of approval.
