Breaking into cybersecurity shouldn't cost you everything.

The demand for cybersecurity professionals has never been higher. The path in has never felt more out of reach.

  • Training programs cost thousands — payable before you earn a single dollar in the field.
  • Bank loans require credit history, co-signers, and financial stability most career changers don't have.
  • Grants and state funding run out — or you simply don't qualify.
  • The risk of paying upfront, with no guarantee of landing the job, stops most people before they start.

A clear path in: Skills-First Cybersecurity Bootcamp

Global Lynx built a program specifically for people who are ready to commit — and shouldn't have to pay before they've proven it was worth it.

  • 120 hours, fully self-paced — study while you keep your current job.
  • Two phases — foundational skills first, then a specialization track you choose.
  • NICE Framework aligned — the U.S. government standard for cybersecurity hiring.
  • Tuition financing with an Income Share Loan (ISL) - $0 upfront, no co-signer, pay only after you're earning at least $35,000/year in any job, full-time or part-time.

Skills-First Cybersecurity Bootcamp
Program Structure

Phase 1: Foundational Courses

Every student completes the same five foundational courses, in sequence. Each course builds on the previous one, taking you from core IT concepts through professional-level security operations. These courses form the backbone of your cybersecurity knowledge.

Phase 2: Specialization Tracks (Choose One)

After completing the five foundational courses, you'll have a clear sense of the areas of cybersecurity that excite and motivate you most. At that point, you'll select one specialization track to complete your bootcamp journey. Each specialization is a focused, advanced course that deepens your expertise in a specific area of security practice — and defines the professional identity you'll carry into the job market.

Where this program takes you

The bootcamp is designed to prepare graduates for entry-level cybersecurity roles that are actively hiring. These are real positions, with real salaries, at real companies — aligned with the NICE Framework that employers and government agencies use to define their hiring requirements.

  • Entry-Level Security Analyst / IT Security Analyst
  • Jr. SOC Analyst (Security Operations Center)
  • Jr. Incident Response Technician
  • Help Desk Technician with a security focus
  • Network Administrator with security responsibilities
  • IT Technician with a security specialization
  • Cybersecurity Technician (entry-level)

Ideally, yes. Even though this program is designed for beginners, finding a cybersecurity job typically demands previous experience in IT or a more comprehensive background. We encourage applicants with no previous IT experience to apply for other IT career paths.

The bootcamp is built around the roles employers are actively hiring for, using the NICE Framework — the standard the industry uses to define cybersecurity positions. Graduates are prepared for 7 specific entry-level roles. That said, job outcomes depend on the effort you put into both the training and your job search.
