Cybersecurity author and thought leader, with a career spanning IT, Healthcare, Higher Education, Insurance and Personal Development sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and Security, a Master of Science in Information Assurance, and a Master of Science in Software Management. Her professional certifications include CISSP, CISA, CompTIA Network+, and IC3, with expertise across multiple software platforms. Ms. Tanzil's journey includes roles as an IT Technician, Webmaster, and IT Network Administrator, culminating in her specialization in healthcare cybersecurity. She has worked with the Fortune 500 healthcare organization Eli Lilly and Company, where she implemented standards such as the DoD 8570, renamed to 8140 as of 2023, and the NICE Framework. Passionate about educating the next generation, she founded Sakinah Tanzil Executive Management Coaching to offer career coaching and cybersecurity consulting, and authored Breaking the Cyber Code, a guide for aspiring cybersecurity professionals.
